Lars has 30 years’ experience from top management consulting, line management and board roles. Prior to joining CHORD, he spent 15 years with McKinsey, 10 years with SKF in leading positions, and 5 years as independent board professional and advisor. Lars still holds Board and Board Chairman positions in several companies.

His main industry focus over the years has been on automotive, commercial vehicles, industrial products and construction. Lars’ expertise lies in corporate strategy and transformation programs. He has supported many companies on the journey from shaping new strategies to realigning the organization and driving required operational improvements to support the strategy. In particular, Lars has a keen interest and expertise in growing industrial and automotive aftermarket businesses drawing on his past consulting experience but also his role as head of the global SKF Automotive aftermarket business for many years.

Lars combines the management consulting, line management and boardroom perspective into a unique understanding on how to create value and drive effective improvements for his clients.

Lars and his wife Li have three children, all at University, and live with their dog Minou close to the sea. Lars loves a tour in the forest on his MTB and to catch autumn lobster at the Fjällbacka summer house.
