Alva holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, specialising in innovation management with a minor in IT. Her academic journey included studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico and UC Berkeley in California and culminated in a master’s thesis in Zimbabwe on technology acceptance. Alongside her international experience, Alva has worked in both large organisations and start-ups across sectors such as recycling and digital healthcare solutions.

Outside of work, or when not travelling, Alva is a dedicated sports enthusiast who stays active through various forms of exercise. She enjoys trying out new gym classes but, coming from a small town, she highly values a run through the forest to stay energised.
