Joar has experience in Management Consulting from working on projects within Business Intelligence and purchasing. Besides consulting, he brings experience from the construction and transportation industries where he has worked on projects related to circular business model design, competitive benchmarking, and supply chain optimisation.

Before taking on a professional career, he completed an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from Chalmers University of Technology, with master-level exchange studies at ETH Zürich.

Prior to CHORD, Joar has experience from NCC, Montell & Partners, Hilti AG in Liechtenstein, and APM Terminals. Passionate about offshore sailing, he has also worked for a non-profit sail training association organising camps on large vessels.
